Q & A

Q: Do I need any special tools?

A: All you need is a screwdriver, PVC cement, and a small compressor (2 gallons or larger). To repair main drains in pools containing water or other water containment facilities, a qualified diver or underwater specialist should perform the repair.

Q: Is there a warranty?

A: Yes. A limited warranty against manufacturer's defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days. Up to an additional two year warranty from participating certified installers.

Q: What if the pipe develops more cracks after the repair?

A: The repaired pipe now acts as an external skeleton protecting the inserted liner.

Q: How restrictive is the liner?

A: The liner has a smooth bore and is low profile. You only loose an overall 3/8” for a 2” or 1-1/2”pipe diameter repair.

Q: Will the liner deteriorate?

A: A special non-corrosive Santoprene TPR (ThermoPlasticRubber) is used. TPR is impervious to most corrosive chemicals and wastes including chlorinated swimming pool water.  We work with our valued customers to suit their specific needs.
